Frequently Asked Questions

Q.1)How do I install the BURRP pack?

Answer:-You have to first download the .zip file, then extract it, followed up with copy-pasting the version you want to %appdata%/.minecraft/resourcepacks (you can also use win+R (for windows only) and paste the location to go to that folder).
Then in-game, you need to go to Settings→Resource Packs, then you have to select the pack and click done.

Q.2)What are the minimum requirments for these packs to run it on my PC?

Answer:-Since BURRP is only a 128x pack, even a weak PC might be able to handle it (at least enough for taking screenshots)
On the other hand, since Vanilla Realism is only a 16x pack, even a Potato PC will be able to handle it.

Q.3)I cant see any difference even with shaders "ON" in-game with Vanilla Realism

Answer:-The most probable reason for this might the fact that you wouldnt have enabled Normal & Specular Mapping in the shader settings.
Since every shader has a different option for enabling them, you have to go through all the options to find them.

Development Update February 2022

In this monthly development update, I plan to add all the Nether support to Vanilla Realism, as well as completing the Deepslate Enviroment, following it up with (probably) releasing BURRP (Boz's Universally Realistic Resource Pack) in the upcoming month.
Below here are some screenshots of what the update will include:-

Development Update March 2022

This update is mostly based upon BURRP, this month I will only be working upon BURRP, rather than Vanilla Realism. Also, in the due course of this month, BURRP is most likely to be released, the first few WIP releases will be available on the website itself, rather than on Curseforge or Github itself.

Here are some of the screenshots of what will be included in this monthly update:-

Development Update April 2022

Hey folks,
April 2022 Developemnt Update (or the CTM-development update), mostly includes the addition of CTM to Vanilla Realism. For those who dont know this, CTM or Connected Textures Mod is a feature of Optifine which allows us to connect various textures in a certain fancy way. Since CTM is somewhat complex, I will begin it with 16x (Vanilla Realism), then will move onto 128x (BURRP).
Here are some shots and a video of what CTM is and how it will be implemeted:- Note:- See how the grass overflows into the planks from where it is connected
